About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and solutions-driven IT & AV Support Specialist to join our Dallas, TX Team. This role provides hands-on IT and audiovisual support for the organization by independently troubleshooting and resolving a broad range of technical issues while contributing to the overall health of our Tech infrastructure.

You will be empowered to leverage FreshService, our IT Service Management platform, to resolve technical issues, manage support requests, and collaborate across multiple departments to continuously improve our systems and the end-user experience.

The ideal candidate has good IT Support experience and is also versed in AV Technologies while being self-sufficient, service-minded, and solutions-driven. Additionally, the person enjoys service support, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes genuine ownership of their work. While Knighted LLC will be the main organization you support, your impact will extend beyond a single brand to our broader network of affiliated teams and operations.

You’ll spend most of your time tackling hands-on IT support, with a mix of Live Event and AV/Production support, and eventually support an on-call rotation for our 24-hour operations, based on our operational event and livestreaming needs. Occasional travel to other office locations will also be required, and no two days will look exactly the same! Training will be provided to ensure skills and quality of work meet Knighted standards.

This role is a Full Time, In Office position and is based out of our Dallas, TX location. The pay range for this position is between $22 - $27/hr.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely first-level contact and problem resolution for hardware, software, networking, and mobile support. Escalate issues as appropriate.
• Perform general IT support activities including hardware deployment, repair, and software installations for assigned locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance of IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, connectivity, and basic network infrastructure issues to maintain reliable day-to-day operations.
• Support the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of business and hospitality technology platforms, including Toast, Google Workspace, and other operational systems.
• Provide AV and live event support: basic audio setup for performances (inputs, balance), live troubleshooting (cables, batteries, disconnects), operating lighting presets, and managing in-house displays and real-time troubleshooting during events.
• Assist with our Live-Stream and Production Operations, serving as backup support for broadcasts, events, and other Club programming.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation, responding remotely or on-site to after-hours technical needs.
• Travel to business operations locations for on-site support and maintenance, as well as assisting remotely.
• Support account management of technical systems.
• Support the configuration and maintenance of hospitality and restaurant operations platforms in coordination with senior team members.
• Perform asset management to include asset inventory, audit and tracking, asset administration and reporting, automating the asset management process as necessary.
• Assist with recommendations of technical solutions that meet design and functional needs.
• Assist with updating/authoring IT documentation.
• Perform other duties and technology-related projects as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to occasionally travel to affiliated locations throughout Texas as business needs require.
• 1+ year of hands-on IT support experience in a professional, boots-on-the-ground environment OR relevant education/certification, with a solid foundation in hardware, software, devices, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Associate’s degree, relevant industry certification (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cloud+, or similar), or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of AV/audio concepts such as signal flow, inputs/outputs, XLR connections, displays, and live troubleshooting, or a strong interest in learning and developing skills in AV and live production.
• Good knowledge of Google Workspace, SaaS/cloud-based environments, and IT ticketing or service management platforms.
• Experience supporting a variety of operating systems and devices, including Windows, macOS, iPadOS, ChromeOS, Android, and basic Linux environments. Experience with a POS system such as Toast or hospitality/service industry-affiliated technology is a plus.
• Poker knowledge or casino/live-event background is a plus.
• Foundational knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity, and general network support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.

• Comfortable working in a 24/7 operating environment, including participation in an on-call rotation and occasional evening, holiday, or weekend event support as needed.
