Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist (PT)Join a collaborative rehabilitation team as a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment working 8-hour day shifts with flexible start times of 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM and a 40-hour weekly guarantee. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with functional deficits resulting from illness, injury, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, surgeries, and other medical diagnoses across acute care and rehabilitation settings. This role requires strong clinical decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, therapeutic exercise programs, gait and mobility training, balance and fall prevention interventions, transfer training, neuromuscular re-education, orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, ICU and critical care mobility interventions, amputee rehabilitation, patient and family education, discharge planning, documentation of patient progress, reassessment and treatment plan modification, interdisciplinary care coordination, delegation and supervision of PTAs and support staff, serving as a clinical instructor when needed, maintaining patient safety standards, and ensuring compliance with facility policies, professional practice standards, and evidence-based rehabilitation guidelines.
