Gastroenterologist - Academic Hospital

Academic hospital in Brooklyn is looking to fill a Gastroenterology role with teaching fellows and community based patients. This is an exciting employed opportunity with salary + quality bonuses!


Compensation : $335000 - $350000

Job Function:

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with digestive and gastrointestinal diseases and disorders.
• Develop treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies.
• Educate patients and family members about the diagnosis and treatment process.
• Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows and medicine residents assigned to the gastroenterology and hepatology service.
• Provide weekend and evening call coverage for gastroenterology services.

Job Requirements:

• Must be fellowship trained in GI.
• BE or BC.
• Must have a NY license.
• No 2025s - looking for available now or to start in 3-6 months.
