Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM EST
• On-call and callback responsibilities required
• Holiday and occasional weekend coverage required
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping by documenting all necessary components within EPIC
• Properly identify images and ensure images are sent to PACS system correctly upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Must have completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification required
• NYS licensure required (must obtain prior to starting position)
• Two years of CT experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required
• Telemetry experience required
• Injection therapy certification required for HCPs registered in NYS
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills required
• Patient and compassionate disposition required
• Must be a team player who can maintain a cohesive working environment

The facility is equipped with advanced imaging technology including Philips and Siemens equipment and maintains high standards for patient safety and diagnostic excellence. The organization utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and PACS imaging systems to ensure seamless patient care coordination and accurate documentation.
