RN Unit Manager

Seton Manor Nursing & Rehab Center, a long-term care facility located in Orwigsburg, PA, is currently looking for an RN-Unit Manager to join our team of healthcare professionals. The best suited candidate: Has worked at least one year as a nurse in a supervisory capacity Has approximately 2 years' experience in a long-term care OR physical rehab setting Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families Possesses effective team problem solving and communication skills The responsibilities & duties: Monitor and provide daily oversight of resident care in accordance with facility and state standards through supervising and directing nurse staff Report to the Director of nursing to ensure excellence in quality care Promote patient independence by establishing goals Educate residents and their loved ones to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies Protect residents and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations Document resident care services by charting in patient and department records Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Ensure nursing supply and equipment maintenance needs are met Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications The Company: We are a 129-bed facility offering long term care and short-term stay We provide exemplary customer service and top-quality care to our residents We are committed to team-oriented outcomes and quality care We value our employees by offering opportunities for career advancement The benefits: Health & Dental Insurance Paid time off (PTO) Tuition reimbursement Continuous professional and clinical training Awards and recognition programs Must possess a Registered Nursing (RN) license within the state of Pennsylvania upon hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr Seton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
