Full Steam Staffing is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Coordinator to join our corporate team in Ontario, CA . This position is seasonal and will support daily payroll operations and help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Position Overview

The Payroll Coordinator will assist with weekly payroll processing, payroll-related inquiries, reporting, and administrative tasks. This role will work closely with the Payroll Manager and other teams to help maintain accurate payroll records and resolve payroll issues.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing and reviewing weekly payroll for accuracy and completeness.
• Review payroll information and make sure employee hours and payroll data are accurate.
• Review and process Payroll Action Requests (PARs) submitted by staffing agencies.
• Assist with generating weekly and monthly payroll reports.
• Help research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
• Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks and data entry.
• Communicate with staffing agencies, employees, and internal teams regarding payroll questions and updates.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Provide support to the Payroll Manager and payroll team as needed.
• Assist with special projects and other payroll-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll, administrative, or office experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers and handling confidential information.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone and email inquiries.
• Familiarity with payroll processing systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Paychex is a plus.
• Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required.
