VP, Group Account Director | Healthcare Advertising | New York, NY

I’m partnering with a leading global creative agency to find an experienced VP, Group Account Director to join its growing healthcare business.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an account leader who can operate as both a strategic client partner and business leader — driving growth, strengthening client relationships, championing creative excellence, and developing high-performing teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead multiple accounts or a significant flagship account, providing senior-level vision and direction
\n
• Build trusted relationships with senior and C-suite clients
\n
• Lead annual brand planning, financial forecasting, and business development initiatives
\n
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and grow the agency remit
\n
• Drive integrated strategy and ambitious, insight-led creative that delivers meaningful business results
\n
• Own account financials, including scopes, staffing, forecasting, pricing, and profitability
\n
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration across disciplines
\n
• Evaluate team structure and resourcing to support sustainable delivery and team morale
\n
• Mentor and develop talent across all levels, helping build stronger strategic leaders
\n
• Serve as a senior leader for complex, high-stakes client and agency situations
\n

What We’re Looking For:

• 12+ years of account leadership experience within a healthcare creative, digital, or integrated agency
\n
• Proven experience leading large-scale integrated campaigns and brand transformation initiatives
\n
• Strong strategic thinking paired with a strong creative sensibility
\n
• Confidence navigating C-suite conversations and complex stakeholder dynamics
\n
• Strong financial acumen across scoping, forecasting, pricing, and profitability
\n
• Experience with contract negotiation and agency growth initiatives
\n
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams
\n
• High science acumen with HCP, U.S. and global experience
\n
• Experience supporting brand launches and commercialization
\n
• Strong understanding of MLR and OPDP requirements
\n
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while keeping teams aligned and motivated
\n
• Google Workspace proficiency
