IT Systems Regulatory Leader FOCI FCL DSCA Compliance Security Risk

“A U.S.-based defense technology subsidiary is seeking an IT Regulations Leader in order to properly limit non-U.S. influenced over the company’s U.S. based subsidiaries”

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Recent or Current Experience working in a similar role under DSCA Guidelines with the goal of initiating processes, procedures, guidelines and documentation with the purpose of lessening-limiting and sometimes eliminating a non-U.S. influence over the U.S. Subsidiary’s R&D, Product Management, Corporate Operations and Product Delivery of mixed DoD focused Hardware-Software Systems, with the end goal.
• Experience working with various departments heads and technical leaders (IT Security, GRC, IT Operations, C-Level management) surrounding Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, IT Security, IT Governance alongside end-client focused Engineering Product Development Teams to insure compliance
• Should be familiar with the creation and/or maintenance of segregated networks and systems, that insure compliance with related CMMC and NIST Standards.
• Team Leadership or Project Management Experience surrounding Similar ‘Special Security Arrangement’ Initiatives is preferred.
• Experience assessing current IT Technical and Related Business Operations in order to properly identify, diagnose and plan for areas of improvement.
• A current or past hands-on and/or managerial background focused on Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, IT Security, IT Governance alongside end-client focused Engineering Product Development Teams to insure compliance is preferred.
• Strong Muli-Simultaneous Project Management and Project Coordination Surrounding proper ‘IT Operations and R&D Separation’ from a non-U.S. owned parent company.
• Experience leading ongoing self-audits and updates to documentation and plans surrounding risk, compliance, IT Security, R&D Information Sharing and related areas; experience with NIST and or CMMC audits, documentation, updates and overall controls is preferred.
• Specialized experience in IT Risk Management, IT-Security planning and procedure management is strongly preferred.
• Experience laying out plans and roadmaps for overall IT Operations and Product Engineering R&D in order to remain compliant with ‘separation and information limitation’ initiatives
• Strong Business judgement and discretion surrounding communication and coordination as related to Corporate Global initiatives.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, training and directly managing a geographically dispersed team of Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, IT Security engineers.
• Experience working in a similar role for a Non-U.S. Global company with U.S. based subsidiaries that build, design and deliver mixed Hardware-Software DoD focused systems is preferred.
• A BS or MS Degree in Information Technology, I.T. Security, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Note: this role will require up to 25% domestic travel.
