Quality Inspector

Position: Quality Inspector - 1st shift (starts at $20/hr) Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Inspect finished product for conformance to customer specifications. Perform dimensional and visual inspection of castings and MPT testing, as required. Document any defective product and report to supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance. Understanding of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of a casting. Visualization of how something may look after it is moved or when its parts are moved or rearranged. The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (i.e. patterns of numbers, letters, words pictures or mathematical operations). Attention to quality requirements is essential. Must be able to read, write and follow detailed instructions. High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Work Environment and Physical Demands Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures. Manual Dexterity and the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects. The ability to see details at close range (within few feet of the observer). Job Type: Full Time. Hourly, non-exempt.
