Employment Case Manager JOBS Program

We are looking for a full‑time Employment Specialist to join our team under the supervision of the Program Manager. The successful candidate will develop employment opportunities and provide ongoing counseling, job readiness training, and placement services for a reentry population. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop and maintain a bank of employment opportunities for an offender population. Assist employers in establishing recruiting standards to benefit hard‑to‑place skilled disadvantaged applicants. Help clients develop job‑search, application, and interviewing skills. Empower clients with pertinent information regarding federal, state, and local employment laws. Provide follow‑up counseling to ensure effective work ethics. Facilitate one‑on‑one and group personal development sessions. Prepare and provide accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and contract guidelines. Ensure clients maintain employment and/or remain engaged in all training programs, internships, and apprenticeships. Participate in mandated training and staff development activities. Perform other job‑related duties as may be required by the Director. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL REQUIREMENTS One year of demonstrated, relevant experience in a community‑based human services organization serving a hard‑to‑place disadvantaged population. KNOWLEDGE Federal, state, and local employment laws. Employment opportunities convenient and conducive to the population served. Employment principles and acceptable work ethics. Available support services, including tools and opportunities for assessment and skill development. ABILITIES Plan, organize, and control resources to meet responsibilities and duties of this position. Prepare and issue accurate, complete, and timely reports in accordance with company and contract guidelines. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization and the employment community. Maintain clearance through contracting agency. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma (DOC). Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Business; preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
