Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans created by physical therapists, providing hands-on support with therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Conduct patient assessments by collecting relevant data and tracking progress indicators to ensure effective treatment adjustments.
• Engage with patients through guided exercises, balance training, and mobility enhancement techniques aimed at restoring functional movement.
• Maintain therapy areas by ensuring cleanliness and organization, as well as preparing necessary therapy equipment and supplies for sessions.
• Support administrative functions, including patient scheduling and accurate documentation of patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and strategize on treatment approaches to enhance care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will predominantly work with orthopedic patients, which includes individuals recovering from surgeries like joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years' experience in an outpatient setting that specifically focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with a preference for candidates familiar with WebPT.
• Knowledge of manual therapy techniques and exercise modalities relevant to orthopedic recovery.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in a collaborative team-oriented environment with skills in advanced modalities like dry needling or kinesiology taping will be an advantage. Candidates with a background in patient education and a commitment to evidence-based practice are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
