Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Support patients during therapy sessions through a range of activities including therapeutic exercises, balance training, and manual therapy techniques, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Prepare therapy areas by maintaining cleanliness, organizing equipment, and ensuring that all tools are readily available for use.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as patient scheduling, updating electronic medical records (EMR) using systems like WebPT, and maintaining accurate documentation to track patient progress.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions, sharing insights and contributing to the development of patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse client base including athletes, elderly patients, and individuals seeking to regain their functional capabilities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, providing hands-on therapeutic care.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT, showcasing proficiency in documentation and patient data management.

Compensation and Benefits
