As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Watch in Gibsonton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that values people first, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter routes, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support site operations by maintaining an alert presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing required reports, logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
