Restaurant Kitchen Manager:

Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack in Greenville is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager. The successful candidate will learn our culture and values and build rapport with our team while blending smoothly with our existing leadership group. Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years successful restaurant experience, with at least two years in the role of Kitchen Manager
• Performance metrics are an essential part of this job. You must have experience with Profit and Loss Statements and the ability to manage effectively and budget accordingly.
• Proven track record of hiring, training, and developing high performing teams in a high volume environment.
• Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Positive and relevant professional references

The Job:

• Understands completely all Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack policies, procedures and conduct standards. Communicates and enforces the same to all BOH staff.
• Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the company’s recipes, portioning, prep, and presentation standards.
• Communicates need for corrected conduct among kitchen staff to the GM.
• Works with FOH to provide information on menu items, such as daily specials, desserts, and main menu.
• Maintains company standard in organization and cleanliness of BOH areas, including kitchens, cooler, freezer, back door area, and storage closet.
• Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed as needed and labor cost objectives are met. Make employee hiring, compensation, counseling reviews and termination decisions for the BOH with the GM approval.
• Continually strive to develop BOH staff in all areas of kitchen operations.
• Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and adherence to cleaning/maintenance schedule.
• Ensure all groceries and dry goods are received in correct unit count and quality standard.
• Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
• Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.

This is a salaried role, starting between $55k - $60k annually. Other benefits include:
