Global Experiences & Events Program Manager | Event Technology, Operations & Scale

Job Description

We’re looking for an Experiences & Events (E&E) Scale Program Manager who is equally fluent in event program management and event technology .

This role will lead and optimize the Global E&E Scale Program, bringing together event intake, governance, technology, resource planning, agency management, and scalable operating practices for a global technology leader. The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience managing complex events with deep knowledge of the event technology ecosystem , and knows how to use both to create smarter, more efficient ways of working.

This is not a technology-only or event-operations-only role. We’re looking for someone who understands the full event lifecycle, can translate event requirements into technology and workflow solutions, and can build scalable processes that make event teams more effective.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and continuously improve the Global E&E Scale Program, including event intake, categorization, disposition, governance, resource planning, agency allocation, and operational workflows .

• Serve as a subject-matter expert across event program management and event technology , connecting event requirements with the right platforms, processes, integrations, and solutions.
\n
• Partner with event managers and stakeholders to assess event scope, requirements, complexity, technology needs, resourcing, and next steps.
\n
• Establish scalable governance, workflows, templates, timelines, playbooks, and operating standards that improve execution, compliance, stakeholder experience, and efficiency.
\n
• Drive adoption and optimization of enterprise event technology ecosystem, including Cvent and integrated event platforms , ensuring technology supports business and attendee needs.
\n
• Bring hands-on knowledge of technologies such as Cvent, Cvent Attendee Hub, OnArrival, Jifflenow, Marketo and Salesforce integrations, Brandlive , and other event and virtual-event platforms.
\n
• Build repeatable project management systems for kickoff, planning, timelines, dependencies, approvals, registration, production, budgeting, invoicing, measurement, and closeout .
\n
• Manage agencies, production partners, exhibit houses, technology providers, and other suppliers across scope, contracts, budgets, timelines, deliverables, quality, and performance .
\n
• Analyze event demand, internal and external budgets, agency utilization, and resource requirements in partnership with event program managers, Operations, Finance, suppliers, agencies, and E&E leadership.
\n
• Identify recurring operational and technology gaps and apply data, automation, AI, and process improvement to simplify workflows, improve quality, and increase program efficiency.
\n
• Lead stakeholder working sessions, leadership reviews, and executive updates, translating complex information into clear recommendations and decisions.
\n
• Develop training, documentation, playbooks, and adoption strategies for global event teams and stakeholders.
\n
• Lead the global Events Community of Practice (CoP) and contribute to the Global Events Council , helping drive shared standards and best practices across the organization.
\n
• Provide hands-on event support during periods of high demand and travel as required.
\n

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a candidate who has both sides of the equation :

Event Program Management

\n
• Demonstrated experience managing complex live, hybrid, virtual, executive, customer, or experiential events.
\n
• Strong command of end-to-end event delivery, including planning, production, registration, attendee experience, agencies, budgets, timelines, risks, and suppliers.
\n
• Experience applying structured program and project management methodologies to complex event portfolios.
\n
• Ability to identify schedule, delivery, budget, resource, and operational risks and communicate them effectively to program leadership.
\n

Event Technology

\n
• Significant hands-on experience with event technology platforms and technology-enabled event operations .
\n
• Strong experience with Cvent , including its use across enterprise event workflows.
\n
• Experience with platforms and integrations such as Cvent Attendee Hub, OnArrival, Jifflenow, Marketo, Salesforce, Brandlive , and related event technologies.
\n
• Ability to translate event requirements into technology, workflow, integration, and process solutions .
\n
• Understanding of how event data, platforms, automation, and integrations work together across the event lifecycle.
\n
• Experience evaluating or implementing new event technologies and driving user adoption is highly valued.
\n

Program & Business Operations

\n
• Strong program management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams.
\n
• Experience developing scalable processes, governance models, and operational standards.
\n
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing event and/or agency budgets.
\n
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams , plus work-management platforms such as Smartsheet .
\n
• Experience using AI and automation tools to improve productivity, workflows, insights, and operational efficiency.
\n
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
\n
• Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across highly matrixed, global organizations.
\n
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and turning incomplete information into clear action.
\n

Minimum Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
\n
• 5+ years of event program/project management experience , including direct responsibility for event planning and execution.
\n
• 5+ years of experience working with event technology platforms, tools, and/or integrations.
\n
• 5+ years of experience managing agencies, suppliers, vendors, or strategic partners.
\n
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects across multiple stakeholders, timelines, budgets, and dependencies.
\n
