Assistant Manager – Floor, Inventory & Operations - Full Time At The Factory Cannabis Co. | Brooklyn, NY Job Summary Join our team at At The Factory Cannabis Co., a dispensary in Bushwick dedicated to culture, community, and a deep respect for cannabis. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run smoothly both on the sales floor and behind the scenes. This hands‑on leadership position is ideal for someone who excels in customer service and operational execution, creating a welcoming and informed experience for our customers while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead and support daily dispensary operations across both the sales floor and back‑of‑house. Set the tone for a high‑level customer experience and support budtenders during peak hours. Maintain accurate inventory through receiving, tracking, audits, and reconciliation. Ensure full compliance with New York cannabis regulations and internal procedures. Oversee cash handling, POS activity, and shift accountability. Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members. Help build a strong, reliable team culture rooted in accountability and consistency. Identify operational issues early and take initiative to solve them. Requirements Proven experience in a retail or operational leadership role. Strong understanding of inventory control and attention to detail. Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast‑paced environment. Clear communication skills and a team‑first mindset. Confidence working both customer‑facing and behind the scenes. High personal standards and a strong sense of ownership. Interest in cannabis and willingness to deepen product knowledge. Must be 21+ years old. Must be legally eligible to work in New York cannabis retail. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
