Asset Based Lending Senior Business Development Officer

Job Overview Bank of America seeks a senior professional to source financing opportunities and lead deal teams through analysis, approval, and execution phases of Asset Based Lending (ABL) transactions, including sole lender, club, and syndicated deals. Key Responsibilities Originates new ABL credit facilities for companies with $50MM+ in revenue. Acquires and nurtures profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and existing relationship enhancement. Interprets financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions and industry trends. Collaborates with internal bank partners to deliver ABL solutions to clients and prospects. Leads and facilitates dialogue with complex clients on industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues. Coaches and mentors peers while utilizing leadership skills. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in ABL Lending. Direct calling experience at CEO, CFO, and MD level. Strong oral, written, analytical, and credit skills. Ability to travel for in-person meetings. FINRA 7 and 63 licenses required (must be completed within 180 days of start date if not currently licensed). Desired Skills & Training Completion of a bank credit training program. Minimum Education 4‑year college degree or equivalent experience. Work Shift & Hours 1st shift, 40 hours per week. Compensation Annualized salary range $175,000 – $239,800, with discretionary incentive eligibility.
