Fire Alarm Project Coordinator in Downey

Job Description NUTECH FIRE ALARM AND SECURITY is a progressive alarm company servicing Southern California. We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual interested in high financial rewards and long‑term career growth. This Full‑time Fire Alarm Project Coordinator position is available in the Greater Los Angeles area and requires a self‑starter who can work independently. Position Responsibilities Coordinate new system installations. Call on contractors to set up Fire Alarm systems per contract. Prospect and identify project requirements, prepare change order bid proposals, track and close projects. Read blueprints and visually identify system components of alarm systems. Perform account maintenance to strengthen relationships, provide customer status reports, and follow up on services sold. Interface with commercial property managers and building engineers, review reports, and support internal staff requests for information. Prepare change order bid plans, maintain a log on bids, call activity, and proposal offers made. Respond promptly to customer needs in a professional and enthusiastic manner. Coordinate scheduling of services with General Contractor and customer to ensure total customer satisfaction. Update job knowledge by tracking emerging trends, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and joining professional organizations. Requirements Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of experience with fire alarm/life safety/security products and services. Organized, able to work without constant supervision, and can communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to read blueprints, contracts, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience performing fire safety take‑offs on change orders is a plus. Knowledge of fire codes and services offered. Reliable transportation is required. Only candidates who possess the above qualifications will be considered. Compensation Hourly salary: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour. Health insurance.
