Design-Tactics is a growing e-commerce company that sells products through multiple online marketplaces and retail websites. Our team handles a high volume of orders, customer inquiries, returns, inventory, and shipping activity each day.

We are looking for a dependable and organized E-commerce Office Assistant to support our daily office and customer service operations. This is a hands-on, in-office position for someone who can stay focused, manage multiple responsibilities, and follow tasks through to completion.

The Position: You will help keep orders, customer messages, shipping documents, and returns moving accurately and efficiently. The position combines customer service, administrative work, order processing, and coordination with our warehouse team.

Some days will be routine, while others may require you to investigate a delivery issue, resolve a return, correct an order, or respond quickly to an unexpected problem. The right person will be comfortable taking responsibility, asking questions when needed, and finding solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Print and organize shipping labels, packing documents, and order paperwork
• Review orders for accuracy before they are released to the warehouse
• Respond to customer emails and marketplace messages professionally
• Assist customers with order updates, delivery concerns, returns, replacements, and refunds
• Review tracking information and communicate with shipping carriers when necessary
• Process returns and document the condition and contents of returned packages
• Coordinate return outcomes, including refunds, replacements, and inventory updates
• Communicate order changes and customer requests to the warehouse team
• Assist with inventory records, product information, and stock discrepancies
• Maintain organized electronic records, spreadsheets, and office documents
• Follow the policies and response requirements of the marketplaces we sell through
• Help with other administrative and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Comfortable communicating with customers in difficult or frustrating situations
• Able to manage multiple tasks without losing track of deadlines
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems
• Comfortable working with email, spreadsheets, shipping websites, and online order-management platforms
• Able to follow written procedures and marketplace policies
• Willing to ask questions, accept feedback, and correct mistakes
• Previous customer service, office, administrative, retail, or e-commerce experience is helpful but not required
