Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ER setting License: KY or compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC NIHSS Must-Have: 2 years of experience in an ER setting Travel experience preferred, but not necessary No trauma level one experience necessary Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ER setting. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted for this position. Travel experience is preferred, but not required. RTO requests for longer than one week will not be approved unless there are special circumstances. Weekend shifts will be required, averaging 4-5 shifts over a 6-week period. Candidates will provide care across various patient age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Knowledge in care for ventilated patients and management of dysrhythmias is preferred. This position does not require prior trauma level one experience. All selected candidates will participate in standard compliance exams upon onboarding. Experience with the charting system is a plus.
