Senior Manager, Accreditation & Project Management

Role Description

The Senior Manager, Accreditation & Project Management leads the successful planning, coordination, and execution of specialty pharmacy implementations across a growing portfolio of partners. This role combines project leadership, accreditation expertise, and client relationship management to ensure every implementation is delivered on time, meets regulatory requirements, and supports long-term operational success.

This position serves as the primary implementation lead, working closely with clients and internal teams to build scalable specialty pharmacy programs while maintaining compliance with URAC, ACHC, and other applicable accreditation standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead Specialty Pharmacy Implementations
  • Manage specialty pharmacy implementations from contract execution through go-live and post-launch support.
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Establish standardized implementation methodologies to drive consistency, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Align implementation timelines with accreditation milestones to ensure regulatory readiness from day one.
• Drive Accreditation Readiness
  • Lead accreditation efforts for specialty pharmacy implementations, including URAC, ACHC, and other applicable accrediting organizations.
  • Partner with Compliance, Clinical, and Quality teams to ensure policies, procedures, workflows, and documentation meet accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate accreditation applications, evidence collection, submission timelines, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct mock surveys, readiness assessments, and gap analyses while developing remediation plans.
  • Maintain awareness of changing accreditation standards and ensure ongoing compliance and readiness for future audits and reaccreditation.
• Build Client Partnerships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout implementation, building trusted relationships with pharmacy leadership, executive stakeholders, compliance, IT, and operational teams.
  • Assess existing client workflows, infrastructure, and operational capabilities to develop customized implementation strategies.
  • Provide ongoing implementation guidance, project updates, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate Across the Organization
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, Clinical Operations, and Compliance teams to support successful client implementations.
  • Coordinate implementation of pharmacy platforms, EMR integrations, workflow design, and operational processes.
  • Ensure implementations align with 340B program requirements, reimbursement workflows, clinical operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Improve Processes & Drive Innovation
  • Develop and enhance implementation playbooks, SOPs, templates, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, scalability, and operational performance.
  • Lead post-launch reviews to identify lessons learned and continuously improve implementation processes.
• Lead & Develop the Team
  • Mentor implementation team members on project management, accreditation standards, and client engagement.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of implementation resources as the organization grows.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Measure Success
  • Monitor and report implementation performance through key metrics, including:
    • On-time project delivery
    • Accreditation achievement rates
    • Client satisfaction
    • Resource utilization
    • Project risks, mitigation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Regularly communicate project status and performance updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Pharmacy, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 7+ years of healthcare project leadership experience, preferably within specialty pharmacy or health system operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading URAC, ACHC, or equivalent specialty pharmacy accreditation efforts.
• Proven success leading complex, cross-functional implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy operations, reimbursement, clinical workflows, EMRs (Epic preferred), and 340B programs.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
• Ability to travel as needed to support client implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• PharmD, MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree.
• PMP Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma experience.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• Remote position
• Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or team events.
