Job Summary
The healthcare professional specializing in Medical Surgical Floor will provide critical inpatient care in a busy medical-surgical unit. The role involves floating across divisions within the hospital and requires experience with insulin drips, EPIC electronic health record system, and BLS certification. The position is suitable for candidates with prior travel experience and at least two years of clinical experience, including two years on Medical Surgical Telemetry units. The shift begins on 08/24/2026, with a night schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida license or compact license, BLS certification, EPIC electronic health record system experience, at least 2 years of clinical experience including 2 years on Medical Surgical Telemetry units, prior travel experience with at least 1 assignment, experience with insulin drips, and completion of orientation every Monday
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diabetic patient care and electronic medical record systems
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Need ASAP start; no locals or travel pairs for Med Surg units. No block scheduling, holiday RTO, or more than 7 consecutive days of RTO permitted. Orientation occurs every Monday, with testing available for EPIC during the second half of the day at TMH orientation. RNs will have the opportunity to test out of EPIC training if they pass; otherwise, full training is required before unit assignment.
