As our next Construction Technician Supervisor, you'll bring a leadership mindset that elevates your team and every project you touch. You will assist the Resident Construction Engineer in the oversight, supervision, and administration of projects and staff assigned to the Davenport RCE Office. You will guide inspection staff through daily construction operations that keep Iowa's highways safe and reliable. Location: Davenport RCE Office

Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday; Hours may vary with construction activity; may receive after-hours calls and occasional overnight travel.

As a Construction Technician Supervisor, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and Support the Construction Team
• Ensure Quality and Compliance in Field Inspections
• Solve On-Site Technical and Constructability Issues
• Manage Project Changes and Contract Actions
• Represent the Department with External and Internal Stakeholders
• Advance Technology, Testing, and Quality Assurance Practices

Special Requirements:

• Possess and maintain a minimum of a Class C non-commercial driver's license
