Registered Nurse – Cardiac Tele

Night shift 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract; travelers typically work every other weekend and may float within the facility as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Experience managing continuous IV medications is required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Knowledge of arrhythmia management and basic arrhythmia knowledge
• Familiarity with Epic (Preferred) and Pyxis systems

Responsibilities

• Manage patients requiring cardiac drips, diuretics, and anticoagulants
• Provide care for adult to geriatric populations, including those with cardiac and pulmonary issues
• Assist with procedures such as cardioversion and care for surgical patients
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias, DKA, and other related conditions
• Participate in post-cardiac catheterization care

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time, there will be a push back of 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Orientation hours vary based on contract length.
