Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (typically every other weekend); nurse-to-patient ratio 1:5-6 days, 1:5-6 nights

Highlights:

• 32-bed progressive care unit serving as overflow IMCU with adult to geriatric patient population
• Manage cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin drips
• Diverse case mix including arrhythmia management, cardioversion, cardiac CHF, chest pain, post-cardiac cath, pulmonary conditions, renal patients, and select surgical cases
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; holiday coverage required based on assignment length

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia state license or Compact license accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or stepdown nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
• Demonstrated experience managing continuous IV medications including cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics (Bumex, Lasix), anticoagulants (Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin), and insulin drips
• Proficiency with cardiac telemetry, arrhythmia interpretation and management, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-PCI patient care
• Experience with TR Bands, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, and titration of cardiac and insulin drips
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to float within facility to like units as needed
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
