As our ecosystem continues to grow, we’re looking for a driven, people‑focused Talent Acquisition Specialist (Volunteer) to identify, engage, and onboard the passionate volunteers who keep 4WARD running and expanding. About This Opportunity You'll sit within 4WARD’s People and Culture team, working closely with Dawid Galat (Head of People and Culture) and the broader leadership team to ensure every open role is filled with mission‑aligned, high‑quality contributors. Your core output is a steady pipeline of engaged, onboarded volunteers ready to contribute from day one. Time Commitment: Ideally 5+ hours per week – Location: Remote Sourcing and Pipeline Building Finding great people before they find us – proactively identifying candidates across the right channels. You will: Source candidates via LinkedIn, Climatebase, and climate‑adjacent platforms Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective volunteers for active and anticipated openings Engage passive candidates with warm, authentic outreach that reflects the 4WARD tone Track outreach and pipeline status in Airtable or Asana to keep the team informed Identify high‑potential candidates from within the 4WARD network itself Interviewing and Selection Running a consistent, human interview process that respects candidates’ time and surfaces real fit. You will: Conduct initial screening calls and structured interviews for volunteer roles Assess candidates for both skill fit and mission alignment Maintain clear notes and recommendations for hiring decisions Coordinate scheduling across time zones with minimal friction Provide timely, respectful feedback to candidates regardless of outcome Onboarding and Record Management Making sure every new volunteer has a smooth start and that the team always has accurate, up‑to‑date records.
