Position Overview

We are currently seeking skilled professionals for an exciting opportunity that offers a mix of patient care and clinical excellence within a dynamic healthcare environment. This position includes shifts of three 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting, including the ability to float to various units as needed.
• Administer emergency medications and manage complex patient needs.
• Utilize advanced skills in areas such as ventilator management, arterial line management, and central venous pressure monitoring.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
• Maintain and uphold infection prevention protocols, ensuring a safe patient environment.
• Manage patient care during critical situations, including trauma and acute stroke cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant charge experience required.
• Proven experience managing patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure.
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIHSS (with possible flexibility for renewal).
• Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic.

Work Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30).
• Four weekend shifts required in a four-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend.
• Flexibility to float between various healthcare facilities as needed.

Unit Details

• Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics.
• Daily Census: Varies across five hospitals.
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
