Puritan Cleaners has been voted Richmond’s best cleaner for over 32 years and has been selected as one of America’s Best Cleaners. We provide garment care services for over 15,000 Richmond neighbors each month. And, over 3800 clients via our free pickup and delivery service each month. The ROM will become familiar with these services but will have the greatest impact through leadership of route logistics and customer service.
The ROM is responsible for supporting the Route Division through training and coaching of route managers. Developing a mutually respectful relationship with the team is necessary to coach in keeping with Puritan Cleaners Q3P (Quality through People, Product and Presentation) values. The goal is to develop the Route team both in technical aspects and customer service under the direction of the Route Division Mentor. The role of the ROM requires flexibility and prioritization of such responsibilities as team coaching, individual coaching, ride-alongs, covering routes in absences, sales tracking, sales growth and retention. Training will be provided for software and apps that are used in our service so a proficiency and comfort of common technology is required and likely applicable to our programs.
