Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Shifts Available
Our organization is currently in search of skilled Registered Nurses for per diem roles in hospitals located in Halifax, VA. We provide attractive pay rates, complete scheduling flexibility, and opportunities within top acute care facilities. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of recent nursing experience within the last four years in one or more of the following areas:
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Additionally, candidates must have received the COVID-19 vaccination or possess an approved medical or religious exemption. Further credentials may be necessary based on the specialty and facility assignment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and high-quality patient care in acute care hospital environments.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and their responses to treatments.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician directives.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment as required by the unit.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Exhibit flexibility and professionalism while adapting to various hospital settings.
