Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Position Summary Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with 4–10 years of experience. The engineer will work on water and wastewater projects in Las Cruces or El Paso, NM, in a fast‑paced team environment. Essential Job Functions Work independently while collaborating effectively with the Wilson & Company team. Contact and visit clients for business development and marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars. Demonstrate high interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities. Manage and develop client relationships. Oversee a wide range of water and wastewater projects to meet client schedules and budgets. Mentor engineers in training and design staff regarding project execution and client expectations. Apply engineering principles and maintain a strong work ethic. Required Experience BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering; MS preferred. 4–10 years of experience. TXPE License or ability to obtain within 6 months. Experience with plan production and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or Revit. Experience with hydraulic and environmental calculations and technical report writing. Experience with hydraulic modelling using WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, or InfoSewer. Job Details Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico. Annual Salary Range: $101,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience). Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring work visa applications.
