Job Description
FOLEY FAMILY LAW is a family law firm based in Downtown Tampa, focused exclusively on divorce, paternity, custody, alimony, modifications, timesharing, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. We do not handle guardianship, adoption, or dependency cases.

\n \nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking an Associate Attorney with at least one year of courtroom experience in Florida family law.
\nThis is a hybrid position — the attorney will work primarily remotely but is expected to be in the Downtown Tampa office at least three days per week for team collaboration and occasional client meetings.
\n \nCourt appearances will be required within the first few months of onboarding, so experience and confidence in a courtroom setting are essential. The initial onboarding phase will be in the Downtown office (parking is paid for by the firm), and after the initial phase is complete, the position will transition to a hybrid position.
\n \nQualifications
\n- \n
- Minimum 1 year of courtroom experience in family law (required) \n
- Active Florida Bar License (required) \n
- Prior experience practicing in a family law firm environment \n
- Knowledge of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure, Civil Procedure, and Rules of Evidence \n
- Professional home office setup with stable internet, quiet workspace, and familiarity with tools such as Zoom and the Florida e-Filing Portal \n
- Strong interpersonal and client communication skills \n
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage cases independently \n
- Empathetic and professional when guiding clients through difficult family matters \n
- Prior experience in billing for client work and keeping track of billable hours \n
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using cloud-based software \n
