Job Description: As the Director of Rehab, you will play a pivotal leadership role in our rehabilitation department, guiding and mentoring our team of rehab professionals. You’ll ensure that the rehab team is delivering exceptional care to patients while adhering to all necessary regulations and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a team leader and mentor, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Authorization & Documentation: Ensure accurate identification of patients' payer sources, and obtain proper authorization for services provided under various payer sources.
• Code Utilization: Oversee the correct use of HCPCS codes to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
• Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the rehab department and the regional manager, facilitating communication and ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• PT, PTA, OT, or OTA
• Must have a valid FLORIDA professional license by discipline
• Must have experience in SNF/LTC
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population
• Ability to relate and interact positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, family, professional and facility staff
