This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys technical tax work, collaborative planning, and direct involvement in delivering high-quality service toclients. KeyResponsibilities Provide initial tax preparationsupport,includinginformationgathering, workpaper creation, data entry,andfirst-draftreturnpreparation Review returns and selected projects prepared by Tax Associates andinterns Assist in training and mentoring junior teammembers Preparetax projectionsand provideproactive taxplanningrecommendations Prepareresponses to IRS and state tax notices andcorrespondence Collaborate with the advisory team on tax planning matters and client serviceinitiatives Communicate with clients by phone and email and participate in client meetings asneeded Conduct tax research and provide support on technical projects and planningmatters Qualifications 2-5years of public accounting experience withabackgroundintaxation CPAeligibleor JD required;Master’s in taxationpreferred Ability to manage multiple client engagementsandprojects Proficiency in or ability to adapt quickly to new tax software and research tools (i.e., CCH Axcess Tax, BNA Income Tax Planner, andCCHIntelliConnect) Excellent written and verbal communicationskills Strong research and analyticalskills Willingness and desire to be part of ateam Compensation Salary range: $85,000 –$105,000 Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, and Disability Insurance for employees are 100% paid for by thecompany OurCulture Empirical is truly unique.
