We’re seeking an experienced tax staff or tax senior to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex tax issues, and values work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic planning advice
- Assist clients with IRS and state tax notices
- Assist with audits
- Collaborate with team members on client engagements and workflow management
- Contribute to firm development initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CPA license or working toward final stages of licensure
- 4 - 7 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax
- Proficiency in CCH ProSystems, CCH Engagement, CCH Axcess Workflow, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
