Senior Tax Associate

Senior Tax Associate – Irvine, CA Location: Irvine, CA; Full-Time; Industry: Accounting and Financial Services. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate for our Irvine office to work independently and lead tax engagements. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of tax regulations, and the ability to supervise associates. Key Responsibilities Prepare complex multi‑state, consolidated corporation, partnership and individual tax returns. Analyze complex tax issues and apply knowledge to provide solutions. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and apply them to client work for compliance. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Coordinate phases of tax engagements, from planning through execution. Supervise and review the work of associates, providing guidance and support as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by engagement supervisors, managers or partners. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of two years of experience in a tax or accounting role. CPA license or progress toward licensure. Familiarity with ASC 740, SSAP 101, Form 1120‑PC, and Form 1120‑L preferred. Ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision. Technically savvy with excellent organization, writing and communication skills. Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and high‑quality work. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor associates.
