Service Advisor (Writer)

If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, you will estimate the additional cost and telephone the customer for permission to do the work. You would report directly to the Service Manager.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of Automotive Service Advisor/Writing Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs, and partsStrong communication skills and the ability to translate customers’ needs into workable technician ordersStrong writing and typing skillsAll applicants must be authorized to work in the USAAbility to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license. Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)Bilingual preferred but not required.

Follows all company processes and proceduresAdvises customers of necessary services, repairs, and benefitsMaintains Pricing PoliciesMeet the manufacturer’s customer satisfaction levelsMaintains our company standards of gross profit production and customer satisfaction. Always communicating internally and externally with other departments, employees, and vendorsUpdating and communicating with customers in a timely mannerComplies with all rules and regulations as requiredSalary Range: $16.50 + commission plan
