About the Role
The Company is in search of a Labor and Employment (L&E) Associate General Counsel to join its legal department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation in the areas of labor and employment law. This includes managing a wide range of legal matters such as EEOC charges, lawsuits, and government agency investigations. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, conduct legal research, and participate in the negotiation of various legal documents. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate Degree in Law, be licensed to practice law, and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar legal role. Experience in the healthcare industry and the ability to counsel multi-state employers are preferred. Applicants for the L&E Associate General Counsel position at the company should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and a strong familiarity with state and federal employment laws. The role demands a high level of professionalism, the ability to interact with senior executives, and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization. The candidate must be adept at working with outside counsel, managing legal projects, and be proactive in identifying and addressing legal issues. Strong leadership, motivational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
