Bookkeeper
Temp to Hire | Full Time
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
$25+/DOE

We are currently requiting an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a local company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting functions, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end accounting processes
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
- Calculate, prepare, and file sales tax reports
- Process payroll
- Assist with additional accounting and financial tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Must have Public Accounting knowledge for consideration
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks online and Desktop required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
