Warehouse Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities Repair and maintain building components including doors, locks, windows, drywall, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures. Patch, prepare, and paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed. Replace light bulbs, ballasts, fixtures, and air filters at TPWA facilities. Restock cleaning supplies as needed. Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic plumbing repairs, including repairing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, and replacing minor plumbing components. Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to help ensure facility safety and operational readiness. Assist Welder as needed. Maintain facility grounds through mowing, weed eating, edging, trimming, debris removal, and seasonal landscaping activities. Remove trash and maintain clean, orderly work areas inside and outside TPWA facilities. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and other maintenance equipment in a safe manner. Assist warehouse personnel with receiving, stocking, organizing, and moving materials and supplies as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and material usage. Identify and report unsafe conditions, maintenance needs, equipment deficiencies, and potential. Comply with all TPWA policies, safety procedures, OMAG risk management guidelines, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety practices at all times. Respond to maintenance-related service requests and emergency situations as directed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities High School graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of basic building, grounds, and facility maintenance practices. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and maintenance equipment. Ability to perform routine repairs, maintenance tasks, and preventive maintenance. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with safety procedures. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to maintain regular attendance and respond to operational needs as required. Must be able to work on scheduled deadlines and meet those requirements. Physical Requirements Moves, lifts, carries, and places materials and supplies weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds on a frequent basis without assistance. Frequently reaches overhead and below the knees, including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting with or without bearing weight. Frequently required to squat, kneel, or climb. Continuous repetitive motion with hand(s) and arm(s), such as grasping, gripping, and turning. Stands and/or walks continuously throughout shift, rarely sitting during shift. Visually locates materials and other objects, as well as verifies information, often in small print. Primarily exposed to outside work with variations in heat, cold, ice/snow, rain, dust, and humidity. Exposure to chemicals in day-to-day operation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
