Registered Nurse - Clinical - Stepdown

We are seeking a registered nurse to assess, manage, and coordinate patient care during hospital stays, utilizing a patient-centered approach. Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and evaluate patient needs. Develop, implement, and modify individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnosis, and protocols. Administer medications, monitor IV fluids, and collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care. Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and involve family in decision-making. Recognize changes in patient condition, respond appropriately, and document care interventions. Deliver specialized care, including restraint use, pain management, and abuse assessment, ensuring safety and compliance. Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards, maintaining a clean, safe environment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring confidentiality and service excellence. Engage in professional development, performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and team collaboration. Provide age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients, using appropriate communication and assessment skills. Maintain licensure, certifications, and mandatory training, and comply with policies and procedures. Qualifications include a valid RN license, BLS certification, and relevant state-specific credentials. The role involves physical activity such as standing, lifting, and patient transfers, with exposure to medical risks and emergency situations.
