Role The Registered Nurse assesses, manages, and provides comprehensive nursing care during a patient's hospital stay, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conducts thorough patient assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications, and documents care activities. Collaborates with team members, provides patient and family education, and ensures safety and infection control practices. Recognizes changes in patient condition, responds appropriately, and documents all interventions and observations. Offers specialized care such as pain management, restraint use, and abuse assessments. Maintains professional accountability, adheres to quality standards, and participates in performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure in applicable states, BLS certification, and ability to adapt to changing demands. Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, and professionalism. Maintains a safe, clean, and respectful environment, showing empathy and delivering high-quality service. Engages in ongoing education and adheres to infection control and safety policies.
