Registered Nurse - Clinical - Hematology/Oncology

Seeking a registered nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and providing patient care during hospital stays, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient-centered outcomes. Key duties include: Performing comprehensive assessments and reassessments, including admission, transfer, postoperative, and discharge needs. Developing and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, tests, and protocols. Administering medications, monitoring IVs, and coordinating referrals and consultations. Providing patient and family education, discharge planning, and involving families in care decisions. Recognizing changes in patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing actions, and documenting care and responses. Offering specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment. Ensuring safety, infection control, and compliance with policies, including maintaining licensure and certifications. Delivering excellent service, effective communication, teamwork, and respecting patient dignity and privacy. Engaging in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and professional development activities. Qualifications and skills: Active RN license in applicable states with BLS certification. Proficiency in clinical skills, documentation, and effective communication. Ability to adapt to changing demands, work collaboratively, and maintain a professional demeanor. Knowledge of safety, infection control, and patient-centered care standards.
