Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role focuses on early childhood students from birth through second grade, working closely with children aged 2-5 who may have disabilities such as autism or developmental delays. You’ll play a vital part in guiding their growth and making a lasting impact.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Early Childhood (Birth-2nd grade) Special Education Certification
  • Demonstrated experience with preschool-aged children (2-5) who have disabilities, including but not limited to autism and developmental delays
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in special education
  • Ability to cultivate an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, staff, and service providers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction aligned with IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans and interventions
  • Track and report student progress, maintaining compliance with educational standards and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with parents, therapists, and fellow educators to optimize student outcomes
  • Create classroom environments that promote comfort, safety, and meaningful learning
  • Employ adaptive strategies and materials to engage and support each student’s abilities

Enjoy a contract position starting August 2026 and ending May 2027, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (37.5 hours weekly).
