*What You'll Do*
* Perform nursing assessments and triage pediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
* Obtain medical histories, vital signs, and clinical intake information to support diagnosis and treatment
* Prioritize patient care based on clinical presentation and collaborate with providers on treatment plans
* Perform nursing procedures including IV placement, venipuncture, specimen collection, medication administration, and other treatments within scope of practice
* Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status or emergent situations
* Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care
* Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
*What We're Looking For*
* Current NYS Registered Nurse License required
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
* Current BLS and PALS certifications required
* Pediatric experience required
* Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
* Ability to remain calm and exercise sound clinical judgment in urgent situations
* Experience with EMR systems required; athenaOne experience preferred
*Compensation Offered:*
Hourly - Hourly Plan, 45.00 USD HourlyThe salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role. Actual salary/rate may vary above or below based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
