Position Overview We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Director to lead and grow our Production Machining Software business across the United States. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and executing go‑to‑market strategies within key manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in industrial software sales, deep knowledge of machining or manufacturing workflows, and proven leadership in scaling sales organizations. Job Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with regional and global business objectives Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing sales team across the United States Establish clear performance expectations, quotas, and accountability measures Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management Own revenue targets, forecast accuracy, and pipeline health for the region Drive new business development while expanding existing customer relationships Identify and prioritize high‑growth industries and strategic accounts Go‑to‑Market Execution Partner with marketing, product, and enablement teams to execute GTM strategies Ensure effective positioning and value articulation of machining software solutions Support product launches and market expansion initiatives Customer & Market Engagement Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key customers and partners Represent Hexagon at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements Provide market feedback to inform product development and strategy Operational Excellence Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and reporting frameworks Monitor KPIs including pipeline conversion, deal velocity, and win rates Drive consistency in sales methodology and CRM utilization Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with customer success, technical sales, and application engineering teams Align with global leadership on strategy, forecasting, and performance Support strategic initiatives such as vertical market expansion and partner development Qualifications Required: 8–12+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets Experience in industrial software, CAD/CAM, machining, or manufacturing technology Strong leadership and team development capabilities Experience managing complex, consultative sales cyclesExcellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence Preferred: Deep knowledge of CNC machining, CAM software, or production workflows Experience selling into industries such as aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment Familiarity with enterprise sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, forecasting platforms) Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) Work Environment Fully remote within the United States Travel up to ~40% for customer meetings, team leadership, and industry events Why Join Hexagon?
