Breakfast/Lunch Cook (ACK) / Service Workers 2 - Restaurant 404 Elkins Road, Nordman, Idaho, 83848, UNITED STATES Your job is to cook breakfast, lunch, and bar food, as well as assist with all kitchen prep work and dishwashing. Elkins Resort on Priest Lake is seeking line cooks to join our Elkins Team who are: Knowledgeable Friendly Excellence-oriented Positive Hard Working We offer: Competitive Wage End of Season Incentive Pay Responsibilities Include: Ensuring Product Quality Know Menus Follow Recipes Accurately Follow Directions Adhere to Food Safety Standards Prep Cooking on Line Works Well with Others Dress Code: Cook shirt, cook pants, apron, non-slip closed toed shoes. Long hair must be pulled back. Be in your cook clothes and ready to work by the time you are scheduled. If this means coming to work early to change and eat something before you clock in, then that is what you must do. Breakfast is served from 8:30-11:30am. Lunch and bar food are served from 11:30am-CL. Know the menus, and menu ingredients. Know and understand health code standards and keep up with those standards. Keep food prepared and organized, labeled and dated. Prep needs to be rotated into new containers at end of shift. When package is opened, the product needs to be placed into a storage container. Use existing product before opening new one. Stay up on prep at least 1 day ahead when slow and 2-3 days when busy. Fill out prep list at end of day. Leave prep list for night shift on cross over items. You must be able to read and completely modify recipes. Demonstrate leadership. Communicate on items the restaurant needs. Keep all food coolers across the street clean and organized. Sweep daily. Help with the dishes. Communicate with wait staff concerning any specials available, changes made to menu and any menu items that are 86ed. Keep work and storage area organized. Be familiar with kitchen and storage areas.
