We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our practice on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will provide thorough dental cleanings and examinations, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support dentists with individualized care plans. This role requires strong knowledge of infection control procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Dental hygienist

Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations on patients of all ages.
Educate patients about proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
Assist in documenting patient medical histories and developing treatment plans.
Conduct periodontal assessments and chart findings accurately.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Collaborate with dentists to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure safety and compliance.
Review medical records and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Provide support with pediatric dental care, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Assist in four-handed dentistry techniques during dental procedures.

part-time $40 - $60 per hour

Monday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

• General Dentistry
• Infection Control License
• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid Dental Hygienist license to practice in New Jersey.
Solid knowledge of infection control standards and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with dental terminology, coding, and documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Commitment to patient comfort, safety, and education.

Experience in dental assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques.
Proficiency in medical imaging and documentation review.
Experience working with pediatric patients.
