Medical Director of Research- Infectious Disease

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan is seeking a Board Certified Infectious Diseases physician to serve as Medical Director of Infectious Disease Research, leading a nationally respected division with a long history of excellence in clinical care, education, and scientific innovation. Position Summary The physician will provide outstanding clinical care, advance research within the Infectious Diseases Division, and actively contribute to teaching in our academic programs. The Director of Infectious Disease Research will set the strategic vision and provide leadership for all research activities within the division. This role includes overseeing ongoing studies, fostering innovative research initiatives, and supporting grant‑funded projects across translational and clinical domains.
