Used Truck Salesperson

Job Overview & Essential Functions Murphy‑Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Used Truck Salesperson. The Used Truck Salesperson sells used trucks by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects within an assigned territory. This position requires a broad knowledge of the Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques. Responsibilities Calls on prospective customers and assigned accounts within the assigned territory with constant aggressive telephone marketing. Maintains contacts with customers regarding their requirements; keeps current on market and customer trends. Identifies and profiles prospective customers and applies strategies necessary to obtain orders. Provides company services to customers. Refers complaints and leads to the appropriate department managers. Reports on competitive activity. Keeps records and prepares reports on all phases of activities. Writes Used Truck appraisals in the absence of the Used Truck Manager. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Broad knowledge of Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques. Product knowledge. Direct sales or truck sales experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational and time‑management skills. High energy level and positive attitude. CDL preferred.
