\n \nAbout the Role
\nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to manage the recovery of past-due accounts through effective communication, negotiation, and compliance-driven practices. This role involves working directly with business owners, accounts payable departments, and legal channels to collect payments, review contracts, and pursue defaulted receivables. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, demonstrates strong critical thinking and negotiation skills, and handles sensitive information with discretion. Experience in commercial/MCA collections and high-volume portfolios is preferred.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\nContacting debtors to negotiate repayment plans and collect payments
\nCommunicating with business owners and accounts payable departments to inform them of past due accounts and collect payments
\nHandling a high volume of incoming collection calls and addressing client inquiries
\nPursuing collections with the legal channel on defaulted consumer receivables, consistent with company policies and applicable law.
\nContract review
\nSkip tracing and asset research
\n \nRequirements
\nSelf-motivation, trustworthiness, and the ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment
\nProficiency with CRM/collections software including Simplicity or similar systems
\nStrong critical thinking and strategic skills
\nStrong organizational skills
\nAbility to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing environment
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills
\nExcellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion
\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy
\nReliable, punctual, and dependable
\n \nPreferred Qualifications
\nExperience in MCA
\nExperience working with high-volume portfolios
\n \nEmployment Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
\n \nLocation: Coral Springs, FL 33065 – Onsite ONLY
\n \nPay: Depending on Experience – Starting salary $45,000 + Commission
